Dreadlight is a female fronted, alternative, hard rock duo from Portland, Oregon. Songwriters Kandra Tolvstad (Bass/Vocals) and Toria Beck (Guitar/Vocals) met in high school and began collaborating musically at fourteen and sixteen. Coming from different musical worlds, the two are developing a unique sound where sweet harmonies soar over heavy instrumentation. Their message and aptitude for creating songs that are pleasantly headbangable has been garnering attention across the Northwest.

The pair competed in Seattle’s 2018 Sound Off!, placing in the semifinals, performed at Portland’s Pride Festival 2018 and 2019, and were invited to perform for Brandi Carlile at the 2019 MoPop Founder’s award alongside acts such as Dave Matthews,

Mike McCready, Tanya Tucker, and the Indigo Girls In 2022,

they were featured on Alex Lifeson of Rush's new Project 'Envy of None'.

They have garnered over 35k monthly Spotify listeners.
